Digital Arts StaffJennifer Johnston Digital Arts Coordinator Gary Brennan/Claire Davison Colm Hackett(Learning Support) Digital Technologies should be embedded within the curriculum throughout the school beginning from an early age. The Digital Technologies (eMedia) department specialisms include Camerawork, Lighting, Scriptwriting, Film-making using Final Cut Express, animation technologies, including pixilation, vector animation, stop motion, and claymation (we will aspire in the future to include 3d computer animation and motion graphics).This department can also deliver Adobe Photoshop, Digital Photography, Vector and Bitmap Graphics, Scanning, Animation, Garageband, Soundtrack, script development, idea generation, character development and Web design. |
Art and English
|
Specialisms will include digital artwork and graphics using Adobe Photoshop/ Aperture and Adobe Illustrator or equivalent, Digital Photography, Vector and Bitmap Graphics, Scanning, Animation and set-building.English to concentrate on idea generation and character development. |
Music and Drama |
Music specialisms will include a range of digital sound and music packages such as Garageband, Soundtrack, Sibelius and Logic. Drama to be involved with lighting, script development, and performance. |
Technology and IT |
Technology will deal with Design and Autocad while IT will cover web design and publishing. |
