StaffTeresa Graham HOD Hilary Donnan/Trevor Jamison/Catherine Johnston/Katie Drummond/Emma Hughes/Catherine Dobbin George McCutcheon/Brendan Leonard (Technicians) What is Science? Think about how detectives investigate a murder. They look for clues and then see what the clues mean. This is what we do in science. We carry out investigations by asking questions and looking for clues. We collect evidence and then try to work out what it means. We look for patterns in the evidence. |
To be able to do this we must have certain basic skills. In science classes we learn how to hypothesize, predict, plan, observe, measure, interpret data, and evaluate.
