Students Council
![]() |
RepresentativesEach class elects two representatives to serve on a Year Council to discuss issues of interest to their peers. Each Year Council elects two members to sit on the Students’ Council which discusses issues of interest to the Student Body. Members of the Students’ Council play an important part in welcoming our many visitors to the College and representing the College in public where appropriate. The Chairpersons of the Students’ Council are appointed at interview by the Board of Governors. Representatives from the Students Council have regular meetings with the pastoral sub committee of the Board of Governors. |
Students Voice |
The Students’ Council has four representatives in senior school. Each class has two representatives and from these two year representatives are chosen. They discuss school related issues which range from smoking to uniform policy and bullying. Everyone has a chance to put their opinion across to try and resolve the issue, and the representatives then report back to their year and class groups. The Students’ Council means that every student and every class has an input into school policy. Representatives from the Students’ Council meet regularly with the Board of Governors. |
