Sisters Angela and Jannah are cutting their hair for charity. Both girls have had long hair for many years but now they want to make a difference and donate their hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss.
The girls are students at Hazelwood Integrated College and planned the event to take place in front of their friends and teachers at the college. Thanks to hairdresser Thomas at Home.
Angela realised she could do something worthwhile, “When I read the story of the Little Princess Trust which was set up in memory of Hannah Tarplee I wanted to do something to help, so my sister agreed donating our hair would help provide wigs which cost £350 to £500.”
Angela and Jannah spoke in front of staff asking for sponsorship and they sold drinks and goods during Sports Day to help raise as much money as possible.
Well Done Angela and Jannah on a lovely act of kindness to help others.
